The Longest Journey

One of my favourite adventure games has been released on IOS. If you have not got the chance to try it yet there is no time like the present.

Apparently, only available in the Australian and New Zealand IOS app store, but coming to the rest of the world markets soon.

What to play next?

So much on the plate right now. The Evil Within, Gabriel Knight 1 Remake, Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishment, and one title called the Secret of Chateau de Moreau that looks pretty neat. Also, I have yet to play latest Tex Murphy as I am waiting for the right time to play through the series in one go.

Not playing the prequel to one of my favourite adventure games – Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within – it seems only natural to flock to playing this long awaited remake of the game that started it first.

Going with no knowledge of the original other than the dated graphics which I have seen from youtube videos this should be quite interesting. Here is hoping the gameplay stands the test of time.

Stay tuned..

Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishment (Released)

As a fan of the Sherlock Holmes character by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle I am more than inclined to play through this title. The last title by Frogwares known as testament of Sherlock Holmes had its flaws but it contained enough Sherlock Holmes and detective elements to keep me interested

Once I finish with Ace Attorney I will most likely play through this on the PS3 since don’t plan on getting a PS4 anytime soon.

Quite a few titles to look forward to such as Gabriel Knight 1 Remake, and Shinji Mikami’s :The Evil Within”. For those who are unaware of this developer he was the man responsible for most of the Resident Evil titles prior to Resident Evil 5.

I still have to play Tim Schafer’s Broken Age just waiting for all acts to be released on the App store. I would prefer to play on the Retina screen of the Ipad.
