The main gameplay has you sliding across your finger to guide Antoine over the main map of the mansion and enter and exit rooms. Each room gives you to option to search, talk to characters or use items. As you explore and find new items further questions will be raised which you can ask characters along the way. The Chapters in this story are broken up into days and once all questions have been solved during a day you must attend dinner with your family and solve questions and present items at the right situations in order to progress.

They are drawn in true anima style and are dressed appropriately for the era the story is set in. Progressing through the mansion is quite simple and as a result the art is not that impressive as you are mainly guiding a sprite around a simplistic hand drawn map of the mansion.

Music in this adventure is almost non-existent, but when it does play it is appropriate for the mood and setting.
